We are located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Routes 340 and 10, in the village of Compass (across from the Turkey Hill at the light).
Sunday Mass is at 10:30 a.m. and we have many other activities that might interest you, as well as warm fellowship to share.
Directions from Lancaster County:
Using Route 340
Take PA Route 340 East. The street name for Route 340 will change from Old Philadelphia Pike to W. King’s Highway. St. John’s Church is at 1520 W. King’s Highway on the right hand side just before the junction with Route 10.
Using Route 30
Take US Route 30 East until you reach the junction with PA Route 10 (Octorara Trail). Make a left onto PA Route 10 North. The Street name will eventually change to W. King’s Highway when PA Route 10 overlaps with PA Route 340. When you reach the intersection of W. King’s Highway and Compass Road (there is a traffic light and a Turkey Hill convenience store will be on your left), continue on PA Route 340 (W. King’s Highway) and the entrance for the Church will be the first driveway on your left.
Using Route 897
From north of PA Route 340 (Old Philadelphia Pike): Take PA Route 897 (Springville Road) until you reach the junction with PA Route 340. Turn left onto PA Route 340 East. The street name for Route 340 will change from Old Philadelphia Pike to W. King’s Highway. St. John’s Church is at 1520 W. King’s Highway on the right hand side just before the junction with Route 10.
From south of PA Route 340 (Old Philadelphia Pike): Take PA Route 897 (White Horse Road) until you reach the junction with PA Route 340. Turn right onto PA Route 340 East. The street name for Route 340 will change from Old Philadelphia Pike to W. King’s Highway. St. John’s Church is at 1520 W. King’s Highway on the right hand side just before the junction with Route 10.
Directions from Chester County:
Using Route 340
Take PA Route 340 West. The street name may change multiple times (Marshallton-Thorndale Road to Bondsville Road to E. Kings Highway to W. Kings Highway). When you reach the point where PA Route 340 and PA Route 10 overlap, there will be a blinking red light. Turn right to continue on PA Route 340 to the intersection of W. King’s Highway and Compass Road (there is a traffic light and a Turkey Hill convenience store will be on your left), continue on PA Route 340 (W. King’s Highway) and the entrance for the Church will be the first driveway on your left.
Using Route 30
Take US Route 30 West until you reach the junction with PA Route 10 (Octorara Trail). Make a right onto PA Route 10 North. The Street name will eventually change to W. King’s Highway when PA Route 10 overlaps with PA Route 340. When you reach the intersection of W. King’s Highway and Compass Road (there is a traffic light and a Turkey Hill convenience store will be on your left), continue on PA Route 340 (W. King’s Highway) and the entrance for the Church will be the first driveway on your left.
Using Route 10
From north of PA Route 340 (W. King’s Highway): Take PA Route 10 South (Compass Road) until you reach the junction with PA Route 340 (there is a traffic light and a Turkey Hill convenience store is across the intersection on your left). Turn right onto PA Route 340 West (W. King’s Highway) and the church’s entrance will be the first driveway on your left.
From south of PA Route 340: Take PA Route 10 North (Octorara Trail). The Street name will eventually change to W. King’s Highway when PA Route 10 overlaps with PA Route 340.
